My name is Mary aka “the hammer”, an avid backpacker and peak bagger trekking through the Eastern Sierras and more. I live in Reno, NV, but often find myself trekking into the Eastern Sierras for some fun with friends. Last week we did a 6 day, 5 night out of Pine Creek TH near Bishop into John Muir Wilderness. We ended up spending a few days in the Granite Park area and did some cross country to bag Mt. Julius Caesar and into the Chalfant Lakes area. We absolutely love your Bearikades and we all had one on this trip with some of us sharing additional space, as I had my Scout with me. I have attached a couple photos of our trip. We had the whole family of bearikades with us! The pic attached of them is overlooking one of the Chalfant lakes with Mt. Julius Caesar (13,220’) in the background. The pic of me is on the summit of Mt. Julius Caesar the day before.
